Commitment
TOSSING IN THE TOWEL
A college freshman returns home after only a day away at college, much to the surprise of her father.
TODAY'S THE DAY
Two young single women synchronize their
watches for their current mission impossible: finding a husband.
MY BOYFRIEND IS A DOG
A young woman dating a boy who literally
acts like a dog is encouraged by a friend to demand better in relationships.

SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED
Two married couplesone from first-century
Palestine and one from contemporary America-prepare to go to an
evening Bible study, with dramatically different attitudes.
IN
TRAINING
A sportscaster interviews an Olympic hopeful only to find that he might
not be ready to "go for the gold."
HEY JOE
To take a humorous look at our indecision and foibles.

DAD'S DAY OFF
Because of an offhand remark to his
young son, a father discovers the boy expects his father to take him
fishing on a day when the father has made other plans. Consequently, the
father has a choice to make and a situation to handle.

A NOSE FOR THE TRUTH
When one woman tells her friend that she is considering
cosmetic surgery on her nose, the other gets upset. The second woman then tells of her
former husband, who wanted to remake her. The two friends discuss the difference between
the real and authentic, and the artificially altered/improved.

FLIGHT 227
This sketch illustrates the levels to which we commit
ourselves to anything. The names of the characters are the Latin words
that define these relationships. Notitia refers to only the factual content
of a relationship. Assensus is a step up from Notitia in that it involves
a commitment of loyalty. Fiducia is simply trust.
SCHEDULING OURSELVES TO DEATH
A husband and wife sit down with their schedules to coordinate their week.
Simple enough. An everyday occurrence. But something's a little out of
focus here. They each have multiple cell phones, pagers and e-mail accounts,
and the kid have hectic schedules and cell phones as well. This sketch
will likely hit a little close to home for many in the audience, but it's
a good reminder of how easy it is to overschedule ourselves.
