Imagine living in
the perfect town. Houses with white picket fences lining the street. Neighbors
who are all honest, upright and humble.
The Man That
Corrupted Hadleyburg shows what happens when the goodness of the
perfect town is tested. Can anyone escape unscathed? Adapted from Mark
Twains short story, this play shows the truth of I John 1:8 (NIV)
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth
is not in us.
This one act is a
great option for not only your church drama program, but for your youth
group as well. As a youth production, The Man That Corrupted Hadleyburg
is suitable for both Christian and public schools.
Your package includes
directing tips by professional director Scott Nolte, Artistic Director
of Taproot Theatre Company, and a special section on making the most of
your production.
